Stiftung Warentest & ADAC Car Seat Test Results 05/2020: Solution B-Fix is Best in Class
The Solution B-Fix high-back booster car seat was the best rated car seat in its group in European car seat test results released in May 2020, with an overall rating* of 2.1. Several consumer organizations, including Stiftung Warentest and the ADAC, tested a number of child car seats for the following criteria:
• Safety: CYBEX has high car seat testing standards, conducting hundreds of crash tests every year. The Safety rating of 2.3 for the Solution B-Fix is a sign of our dedication and expertise in this area.
• Handling: The Solution B-Fix scored 2.0 for handling, demonstrating its ease of use and reduced danger of misuse.
• Ergonomics: An exceptionally comfortable car seat, the Solution B-Fix was rated 1.9 for ergonomics.
• Harmful Substances: This child safety seat was rated 2.0 for absence of harmful substances in the materials used in its construction.
Who conducts the car seat tests?
Several leading European independent consumer organizations conduct testing of car seats once or twice a year: the German ADAC and Stiftung Warentest, the Austrian ÖAMTC and the Swiss TCS. These tests are among the most important in the industry, evaluating crash test safety ratings for car seats as well as ergonomics, handling and other factors.
